 |
Steve Jonesi
Steve was introduced to the mighty muskie in the 1970’s while
vacationing with family on Upper Post Lake in Northern
Wisconsin. That introduction has fueled an obsession with a fish
that has taken Steve all over the United States and Canada for
the past 45 years. Steve released his first Wisconsin legal, 30”
at the time, on September 25th, 1977. Thousands of muskies have
visited Steve’s boat over the years.
Through the years, Steve has introduced many to the sport of
Muskie Fishing. The dream of owning/operating a professional
guide service came to fruition after moving to Minnesota in the
Fall of 2004, to begin working for the world famous Thorne Bros.
Custom Rod and Tackle Shop. Lake Mille Lacs and her 132,000
acres became home base.
On October 6, 2006, Steve’s client Jody Dahms caught a muskie
that would have broken the Minnesota state record at the time if
he had kept it. The incredible muskie was caught on Lake Millie
Lacs and was 54” long and had a 30” girth. That fish gave
Steve’s professional career a real boost. The next few years
were amazing! He spent time with clients catching big fish and
making fabulous memories.
Steve’s passion for teaching and sharing information can take
your fishing to the next level. Never short on stories and
laughs, a good time in the boat is guaranteed.

JOEL WALCZAK
I
have been guiding for 41 years, and own Rocky Point Tackle Co. I
use my time in the boat as an opportunity to teach. Catching a
fish is great, but the knowledge and experience is as long
lasting and beneficial as a picture. I am also Co-Founder of the
Wisconsin Veterans Fishing Camp, which is the highlight of my
year. To be able to thank our Heroes and share our fishing world
with them, and to serve them for a few days.
AARON STACK
The thrill of the chase- the tug is the only drug!
Been musky fishing since 1998
Guiding for 10 years. Multiple top 10 tournament finishes 3
first place finishes. I love guiding for the sole purpose of
sharing knowledge and helping others create memories that last a
lifetime!
CRAIG ADER
Ader’s ADVENTURES started in 1985; After developing a love for
getting people outdoors, hunting and fishing, passing on the
knowledge. Over the years, the collaboration with several
entities enabled me to create a nice network. I could not do
what I do without friends and family. The joy I get from
seeing the first fish or biggest fish is priceless!
I
am not a pro-staffer for any company, what I use and who I
partner with is based on quality, success and ethics. I do not
consider myself a “Guide” rather more of an educator/personal
consultant. This enables me to help you with what you are
looking to accomplish. It cost nothing to ask. Please feel
free to reach out, and just maybe we can build an adventure for
you.
BRIAN MIREK
I
live within a few miles of the musky lakes of Waukesha County
and love sharing knowledge that has helped me be successful in
these heavily pressured waters. Thanks to local musky clubs and
DNR stocking efforts, all of our lakes have great populations of
muskies with a great mix of age classes, offering not only
numbers but also big fish. I focus primarily on casting and fly
fishing, and thanks to my son showing great interest in musky
fishing, I've also learned many methods to help smaller framed
anglers successfully pursue the fish we love to chase. I look
forward to sharing what has helped me win and place in many
local tournaments with all of you.
