Chas Martin

Chas Martin has been fishing the Three Lakes and Eagle River area of Wisconsin for his entire life!  He has a decade of guiding experience and this seminar provides him the opportunity to share this knowledge.  In addition to guiding, he is also a videographer for the award-winning TV show, “Fishing with Joe Bucher.”

Catching a giant musky is one of life’s greatest experiences. Chas has sought to better understand Musky, so whether you are new to Musky fishing or a seasoned Musky angler, Chas will show you the latest techniques and tips that will help you become a more successful angler.

Knowledge is Power, and the more you understand the Musky’s seasonal behavior and tendencies, the more frequently you will be putting fish in the boat.  It doesn’t get any better than a big musky following your topwater in only to hit it right by the side of the boat.

Jason Smith Guide Service

Fishing waters that are pressured and often difficult to fish lakes makes putting muskies in the boat a challenge. In the 2018 season Team “MuskieSmith’s Fischer and Jason won the 29 team CVML Chippewa Valley Muskie League.  Finished with 12 muskies, 7 over 40” and Fischer got 5 of them including at 47.5” on our local 18 muskie waters.

In addition to guiding, Jason runs a popular social media page on Facebook “Muskie Fishing Tips and Tricks” A fun and real time information page to keep us all dialed in. Its run as a clean and no confrontational so anyone can ask questions that they need answers.

Pete Rich Guide Service

Pete Rich guides for Musky on the Chippewa Flowage and many other lakes in the Hayward area. Pete has been the top producing guide of trophy Musky on the Chippewa Flowage over the past decade. You can expect Pete to share the keys to trophy musky fishing that have made him so successful.  Those keys are: identifying productive musky locations, presentation techniques, and tips for triggering Musky into striking.  In addition, he will teach seasonal movements and locations and how to quickly identify and exploit current patterns. It’s keeping an open mind and constantly trying new techniques, that make it possible to consistently boat trophy muskies in a variety of conditions.

Noah Binsfeld
Get The Net Guide Service

I grew up on Little Rock Lake which is connected to the Mississippi River. I'm a third generation river fisherman. I spent my childhood fishing on the banks of the river with my grandpa and my dad. Both of my grandpas, Benno and Robert, along with my dad, Mark, were huge influences on me growing up.

They turned me into an outdoors man and eventually led me to this point in my life. I love to fish all kinds of fish, but my true passion lies in catching the elusive muskies wherever they swim. I love taking people out to catch their first muskie or their biggest muskie.  Hope to see you on the water!

Scott Kieper

10:00 AM - MATT ROSS

Matt Ross-Musky Operations Guide Service

Matt is 34 and is a lifelong Wisconsin Resident.  Originally from a rural Wisconsin town, Matt was rooted in the outdoors and developed a passion for the outdoors including hunting and fishing. Matt began chasing muskies almost 16 years ago and eventually moved to the Chippewa Valley area and has been chasing Musky in the Chippewa River Valley since 2007.  Matt also chases Muskies across the rest of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Canada.  Nothing brings him a greater sense of accomplishment than putting the pieces of the puzzle together and sharing with other people the smiles and the thrill of the catch.  The thing most exciting about these fish for Matt is knowing that there is always more to learn.  These fish are always teaching us something new and it is our job to listen and figure out what it is and nail down a pattern.
