Jeff Frick

Specialize in fishing Wisconsin River and Flowages associated with it. Specialize in fishing shallow, heavy cover. Wife Tina and I have many fish over 47" with 3 over 50" in recent years, all in Northern Wisconsin.

Slither Musky Tackle designs and creates lures geared towards fishing heavy cover, regardless of type or location. Our designs are unique in many regards as far as design and the way they are built. Everything starts as a wire and hook and evolves from there and ALL work is handled by Tina and myself. We have two Musky Spinnerbaits that are different than our "traditional" style spinnerbaits, as that they have a Dual-Clevised design, similar to the popular "inline" styles, but are able to fish in and through just about any weed type, as well as downed timber, stump fields and rock situations.

We also have created the only Dual-Armed Musky Buzzbait, which allows Musky anglers to fish TOPWATER regardless of the cover. The MUSKY RATTLER Buzzbait can be fished in very heavy weeds, accessing BIG fish areas to a topwater presentation where other styles simply can't go, due to their treble hook design.

We no longer tournament fish and instead focus totally on finding and catching the very biggest Muskies that swim.

Women's Musky Panel

Janie Harpster

As an outdoors enthusiast that wanted to incorporate my own handmade products/designs to fit the specific needs of other people passionate about the outdoors.

I founded Janie's Flies and Custom Tackle in 1994.  Since 1988, I have been employed as manager at Northern Highland Sports in Boulder Jct., Wisconsin.  Throughout this stretch of time I gained a strong connection with other local musky guides and anglers.  When larger manufacturers decided to go with crimped musky leaders, I introduced my line of custom handtied leaders. Around the same time I developed my own line of quick-set musky rigs that have helped many anglers in the successful catch and release of trophy muskies.

In 2011, I created a weedless inline Musky lure that offers a unique presentation, allowing anglers to fish weed structures that are too thick to fish with conventional lures.

My original RAMIT, served as a successful lauchpad for an entire line of Musky Lures that have produced fish for both the novice and expert anglers alike.

Tina Frick

As co-owner of Slither Tackle and an avid Musky angler, Tina will provide a woman's perspective on success on the water.

Her input into the enhancement of the Slither Tackle lure product line has been invaluable in the evolution of effective Musky lures for women and men.

Join her as, along with the other panel members, she provides the woman's perspective.

4:00 P.M. Rich Reinert

Rich Reinert

As a tackle designer, manufacturer's rep, guide and speaker, I have been associated with the tackle industry for over 30 years, helping to design numerous musky lures and components.

I have been fortunate to be responsible for more products, designs and presentations than anyone else in the musky industry over the past 15 years.

My passion for Musky fishing over 35 years, with 18 of those years as a full time guide, has given me a unique perspective on the sport of Musky fishing. I have been known to go to extremes to put fish in the boat.

I have been featured in In-Fisherman, Outdoor Life, and Midwest Outdoors. I have had over 1,500 Muskies in my boat over the years and, as a result of that success on the water, I have had the opportunity to speak on many radio programs as well as at numerous sport shows.

When I am the featured speaker at seminars for local Musky clubs, you won't find me glued to the front of the room. I believe that an informative and memorable seminar can only be accomplished by getting close to the audience.

I believe that by talking with the audience rather than at the audience, creates an atmosphere of information exchange that benefits all participants, including myself.
